Maybe somewhere GW is popular, probably in USA.
Do i see any clans in a ladder from other PvP games? I heard only about LotD. Do i see any euro clans? No. At least, they don't say that they're euro. GWEurope site wasn't popular in October when i registered there and it isn't popular now. There is only one GW fan site in Russia. 8500 hosts (hotlog.ru counter). There are 2 Clans (both with a several years history, they played in other games before GW), they can barely get enough players interested in GW to field a group for GvG (8*2 players lol). Compare it to WoW in Russia: 4 or 5 portals. worldofwarcraft.ru - 466710 hosts. WoW is already released in Europe, there was 135506 hosts in the last month. So 466710-135506*2=195500 hosts not including last 60 days. That's only one site out of 4 or 5 big ones (i can remember url's of only two sites and only one have hotlog.ru counter on it so guests can see statistics). "Word of mouth" advertising works fine when someone is interested in the game in the first place. When almost noone is interested, it doesn't work. GW will not outsell WoW, no chances.
